Educational “Transfer” Project (Germany to US/US to Germany):
In the summer of 2013, I was fortunate enough to be selected for an internship at the "Kindersolarzentrum" in Ilmenau, Germany to work and learn about their basic STEM education and renewable energy concepts, as taught in the German public schools. The group had designed over 20 different renewable energy educational models and after the internship I was given permission to take three of the models back to the United States to found a similar program in California. I translated the instructional material from German into English for use in American elementary schools and completed a translation from English to German to share with Germany a program I designed in California and to assist the Kindersolarzentrum in their multi-lingual publicity work.
